A new tool for job searching is available. Today, you have to apply for most jobs online. You will also need an email account to complete an online job application. We have made it easy for you to get an email account and some guidlines for online job searching. At the top of page click on Services, then click How to Apply for a Job. Good luck finding your next job!
Need to create a resume and you don't know where to start? Try Cypress Resume, a resume making software we now offer. Click HERE to start using this easy, well organized program to create your own unique resume. Enter your library card to get started. Currently, the software is available only to library computer users but will be available through remote access soon.

Knitting classes continue at our Main Library!
Our teacher, Dianne Laughlin, is teaching knitting every Tuesday at 2PM, Just like the crochet class, you supply the materials and the lessons are FREE! Dianne suggests you bring a skein of worsted yarn and size 7 or 8 needles to the first session. You can register in person, send an email to wilkinsburg@einetwork.net with your name & contact information , or call 412-244-2940. Don't delay - space is limited.
CROCHET Classes are continuing for beginners or experienced crocheters who need a refresher class. Frankie Turner has classes on Mondays at 2PM in the Adult Dept. of the Wilkinsburg Public Library and Saturdays at 11AM at Eastridge Branch Library. Contact the library to sign up for these FREE classes and find out what materials students must bring to class.
